This is my second year in Sidcot with Academic Summer. I made a lot of new friends from different countries. Also I had a great experience with various subjects which I don't have in my country. Sidcot School has a lot of facilities and it has a great location. My advice is to come to Academic Summer and experience academic life in the summer.

I spent an unforgettable time at Academic Summer. At first I was a bit scared being the only Italian speaker, but then I realised that it doesn’t really matter where you come from and people were so nice to me that I didn’t miss my hometown at all.
What I enjoyed the most were the trips, very well organised by staff. I was impressed by facilities offered by Sidcot School. The rooms are big and comfortable. The hard work during lessons was balanced by enough of free time and sport activities.

I searched the entire internet for a summer school fit for me; an academic summer school which thrives on not only educating young people but also integrating them with students all over the world, to build a global friendship. As I am in the stage of applying for university, I intend to further my knowledge by studying at Academic Summer and leaving with a broader understanding of the subjects I am already studying in my A-Levels. I am hoping that I will be given the chance to spend my summer engaging academically and also socially; widening my experience.

Wonderful days in a beautiful countryside. Those two weeks in Academic Summer have passed very quickly and gave me first impression of the life in a boarding school. It was very interesting to meet people from different nationalities and to get to know their lifestyle. Although I only have been here for two weeks now, I think that I have already improved my English skills. In my opinion I would recommend this experience to everyone who not only wants to improve academic skills but also to increase the level in different subjects.

I like Academic Summer program! I studied and had fun at the same time! Lessons here are a bit longer then in my school but teachers made them so interesting that they ran very quickly! Also I enjoyed speaking with children from different countries who have different traditions and interests! I'll miss all my new friends and staff as well! Especially Brook! All the trips were very exciting and, as for me, I really had many expressions and I also learnt much about England! Another thing I liked is sports! I am fond of tennis and I am very glad that I had an opportunity to play it! So I had very nice holidays! I hope I will come to Academic Summer next year!

Academic Summer is really nice. There are fantastic sport facilities, lots of sport fields and amazing basketball court. The teachers here are with outstanding knowledge. The rooms are big and comfortable. I enjoyed meeting people of different nationalities.

"The Academic Programme is very well organised and has a great range of subjects. For me it was very useful in my English skills but also in my academic ones. I was very glad that we covered English in some subjects and we learned how to use it. I enjoyed academics subjects because we had a mix between theoretical and practical. We did some very useful practical tests like dissection on the kidney and heart. I also liked that every lesson was planned organised and the teachers treated us like adults and felt like friends. There were lots of students from many countries which I enjoyed. It was a very happy and useful experience that I will never forget".

"I wanted to practise my English and I found Academic Summer School on the internet. I expected it to be good but it proved to be better than I could have imagined. The atmosphere in the class was really relaxing but also very studious. The teachers were all kind and gave us good support and advice. I improved my English while having fun. The visits to Bath, Bristol, Oxford and London were fantastic. I was so happy when I received my IELTS result which was IELTS 8. Academic Summer School is really international and I enjoyed meeting people of different nationalities. I can't wait to go back next year to see all my friends again".
