Whatever your age, Academic Summer offers a structured and balanced leisure programme designed for you. This includes sports, evening activities and weekend trips to complement the academic programme and to encourage social interaction in English.

Academic Summer London at DLD College
At Academic Summer London the programme includes trips to key UK cities such as Brighton, Cambridge, Oxford, Windsor and Cantebury as well as enjoying different places in London such as the London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Westminster, National Gallery, Tower of London, London Museums, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace .
Activities include sport activities, drumming, shopping, charity events, talent shows, parties, leadership workshops, discos, drama workshops, climbing walls, climbing, paintballing, driving, quizzes, cookery, crafts, photography and team building activities. Academic Summer at Abbey College Cambridge
Apart from enjoying delights of Cambridge such as punting, visit of a Market Square, Museum of Cambridge, Fitzwilliam Museum, Newmarket, Kings College, Trinity College, Cambridge Science Center, Botanic Gardens orThe Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology you will also get to know other parts of the UK.
During the weekend trips you will visit London with visits to the Making of Harry Potter, London Dungeons and Up at the O2. You will also have the opportunity to see some of the major sights including the London Eye, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace or Houses of Parliament. On Saturdays there are trips to Thorpe Park, Norwich or Birmingham.
Academic Summer at Abbey College Cambridge - Leisure programme 2020
At Sidcot School near bristol the programme includes trips to London, Thorpe Park, Oxford, Warwick, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Birmingham, Stratford Upon Avon, Bath and Exeter on Saturdays and Sundays, and Bristol and the surrounding area on Tuesdays and Thursdays as part of the academic programme. Horse Riding Lessons
Whilst at Academic Summer you can do Horse Riding lessons.
Sidcot school has fantastic equestrian facilities including an arena and fantastic hacking across the Mendip Hills. Students of any age can take horse riding lessons.
Group lessons are available for £50 per person per lesson. Students can have a maximum of three lessons per week.
