Academic Summer is commited to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects its staff to share this commitment.

In the summer we employ a team of teachers who are qualified to teach their subjects and have A-Level, IB and TEFL experience. This year our dates are:
  • 9th July to 3rd September 2016 for Academic Summer at Sidcot School near Bristol, including specialits weeks Medical studies (23rd July to 6th August, Oxbridge (6th to 13th August) and Back to School (20th August to 3rd September) 
  • 2nd July to 27th August 2016 for Academic Summer at DLD College in London, including specialist weeks Oxbridge 16th to 23rd July) and Medical studies 13th to 27th August)
  • 9th July to 6th August 2016 for Academic Juniors at Sidcot School 
  • 4th July to 26th August 206 for Academic Adults at DLD College London and Academic Juniors at DLD College London

As well as experience we are looking for teachers who have enthusiasm and a love for their subjects. We like our teachers to make their subject options interesting for their students and the lessons will be a mixture of theory and practical work.

Staff can work from one to nine weeks; teachers can work up to 30 hours a week. They can work one to four teaching blocks a week and there is the opportunity to take part in pastoral work. We offer competitive rates of pay (advertised in the job description)

We are looking for subject teachers on our Academic Summer courses at both Sidcot School near Bristol and DLD College in London.

We are also looking for teachers for Academic Juniors at Sidcot School and Academic Adults at DLD College in London.
